Yes… we have seen a lot of strange things being bought and sold on eBay. Some of them have been disgusting (like people selling their children), some have been normal, and well…one guy has decided to sell his life.

An Australlian man named Ian Usher, has decided on Monday to start auctioning his life. No he is not suicuidal he says, instead he is just ready for a new start and new adventures. His big plan is to leave his house, his car ( 1989 Mazda 929), his motorbike (1996 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R ) his jet ski (1995 Kawasaki 650S) and his bicycle ( Polaris 15-speed), his job as a rug store assistant, his internet business and yes, even his friends are insane enough to get in on the deal.

His website, offers you pictures, videos and tours of his decent looking house in Perth. Although one must look at the fine print and read a bit to see that the job at the rug store is conditional. So if you are interested in Ian’s life, you better be passionate about rugs!

Some of the other bonus items Ian has to offer are a home spa, camping equipment, skydiving gear, kite surfing gear, and even a home entertainment center connected to his play station.

Why is this man giving up his life? Apparently he is not to in on giving us the details about it, but it has to do with his undying love of his former wife Jenny.  He says the things in the home they built together has been too much for him to bare over the past year and he needs to make a fresh start. Some of his friends I happen to agree with are saying he is having a mid life crisis.

What are Ian’s plans after he sells his life? He plans on putting his wallet in one pocket, his passport in the other and getting on the train to the airport. He says he will take the next open seat on a plane and start all over.

Ian seems quite serious. His eBay record is good, so if that is any judge on the moral compass then it looks like he is 100% honest. If you are interested in his life and want to move to Australia, the auction starts on Sunday June 22 and noon (Australian Western Standard Time) and ended one week later.
